Symptoms include puking, nausea and acidity. There could be either diarrhea or constipation as the result of poor digestion. There may be feeling of heavy stomach and burning sensation in the chest. Stomachache is also not uncommon.
A person gets disturbed. There could be regurgitation of the food into the food pipe. There will be lack of interest overall especially food. Pain in abdomen particularly on upper side of naval and just below breastbone may be seen.

- Back stools or vomiting with blood
- Unbearable pain in the upper right abdomen
- Vomiting, appetite loss or persistence weight loss
- Discomfort that is apart or not related to eating and defection
- Shortness of breath, sweating and pain that is radiating to the neck or arm or jaw.
- If the symptoms persists for more than two weeks.
