Arrhythmia
Arrhythmia is the condition when the heart beats divert from usual rhythm and become irregular. In this condition, heart beat can be too slow, very fast or irregular. Blood flow with immense speed towards heart can damage the heart muscles resulting in even heart failure.
Some of the types of arrhythmia that are commonly diagnosed in human are atrial fibrillation, premature ventricular contractions, and bradyarrhythmias.
Congenital Heart Disease
Unlike other types of heart diseases, congenital heart disease CHD is a birth defect. Individual with CHD suffers with the symptoms since birth. This ailment has been found in one of every100 births.
Common cardiac defects related to congenital heart disease are atrial septal defects and ventricular septal defects which are the caused when the wall separating the right and left camber of the heart is entirely blocked. Another type of CHD is patent ductus arteriosus in which ductus arteriosis does not shut down soon after birth.
Valve Disorder
The function of heart is controlled by valves which are situated at the entrance and exit of every heart chamber. Therefore, along with four chambers, heart comprises four valves. And the main function of the valve is to maintain a proper blood flow inside and outside of the chambers. But if the valves are weak or could not perform their function efficiently, it cause heart problems like stenosis and mitral valve prolapse which affects the functioning of the heart.
Enlarged Heart
