However, if you clean pillow cover, bed sheet and blanket more frequently then it is less likely to affect your skin. Similarly using the dirty towel infects the skin with bacteria or fungus which is stuck into the fiber of the towel. Always use your own towel to wipe you face as using others towel may transfer the bacterial infection from their skin to yours.
